When I began writing it, The Day the Mohel Returned was to be a screenplay that would be written just for fun, which is unfortunately the ultimate purpose of many of my screenplays. However, during my many re-readings of Mohel, I saw something special in it. I knew that the idea could be my big break into the independent film industry, so I started a Kickstarter with a goal of $1500 in hopes of raising the funds to make it.
